Michael Melfi has been training in the Bujinkan for almost ten years. He has been to train in Japan at Hombu Dojo, the headquarters of the Bujinkan, multiple times. He holds the rank of Godan, fifth degree black blet, and is is an official Shidoshi, instructor, in the Bujinkan.
Michael also has a black belt in Small Circle Ju Jitsu and has significant experience in many other martial arts. Zach Kunkel-Ruiz is a Nidan, second degree black belt, in the Bujinkan and is an officially recognized Shidoshi-Ho, associate instructor. Zach currently teaches art in Columbus, IN. He been with the group for many years and significant experience teaching and helping students.
Jayson also holds a black belt in Small Circle Jujitsu, along with experience in a number of other martial arts. He currently lives and works in Bloomington. Sean has been training since he was in high school and lived in Japan for almost ten years where he studied under Soke. Sean currently lives in Novi, MI with his family and leads his own training group there. Though Sean is not directly involved with regular teaching at our group, he is Shidoshi Michael Melfi's teacher and is the head of the "lineage", meaning he is the Dai-Shihan we follow, we are a part of within the Bujinkan.
